September 2021 Dinner @ Cantina 18

Wednesday, September 22, 2021 (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

We are pleased to introduce Ramiro Rodriguez as this month's guest speaker. Ramiro is an expert coder who cofounded Code the Dream, a nonprofit that prepares immigrants and other minorities for work in tech. He will be sharing with us his experiences in entrepreneurship and overcoming adversity.

Prior to the plated dinner being served, we’ll have our networking hour from 6-7 PM on the spacious upper floor of Cantina 18, giving you a chance to mingle with other professionals in the community. As dinner gets underway, we'll hear from Ramiro. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, plus the remainder of the evening available for more mingling. It’s sure to be a great time and we hope you can make it!

Dinner pricing includes a salad, entrée (including a vegetarian option), sides, and dessert. Soda, tea, or water are included in the cost of the meal; a full cash bar is available with a wide selection of beer, wine, well drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Because there is a limited capacity for this event, we recommend advance registration.

The event menu:

  • First Course: Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho (Basil Oil, Herbed Croutons)
  • Second Course: 18 Seaboard Woodfired Meatloaf (Goat Cheese Mashed, Spinach, Worcestershire Sauce) -or- Mushroom Tomato Ragout Over Grit Cakes (Sweet Pepper Grit Cakes, Spinach, Tomato Romesco)
  • Third Course: Panna Cotta (Blueberry Compote)
